Eviston House was my cozy base for a recent gourmet getaway, and I must say, the dining experience truly stood out. The charming dining room, lit by flickering candles, offered a mix of traditional Irish dishes and more modern options. As a lover of fresh, tasty food, I found the menu to be delightfully varied with many vegan choices. It was the ideal place to unwind after a day of capturing rugged landscapes. While the breakfast selection was good, the high number of guests meant that some items ran out quickly, leaving the staff a bit stretched. However, the friendly service at McKenzie Cafe, just a stone's throw away, made up for it. The ambiance, coupled with the quality food, ensured a memorable dining experience. Eviston House, with its central location, is now a favorite haunt for this Cork lady seeking a perfect mix of comfort and culinary delights.
